My name is Jack Leonard, and I am a student at Sidwell Friends School, class of 2022. I have run varsity cross country and track since freshman year, ranking 19th at the 2019 DCSAA cross country state championships, and 17th in the 3200 at 2019 DCSAA track state championships. I have been running track and cross country for the past 6 years, and it has become a major part of who I am. I have had some difficulties with injuries and with practicing during the pandemic, but I have always worked to improve my abilities and fitness. I feel I have done a lot in my highschool career so far, placing fairly high at states and even running at NXR Southeast, but I still believe that I can improve a lot and hope that by running in college, I can push my boundaries even further.
