Davenport Personal Statement
I have been running since the start of freshman year track but then it was canceled due to Covid. Running for a collegiate team is my dream and why I work so hard. Working hard and training is my way of life. Before finding cross country and track and field I was on Sebring’s soccer team. I want to be able to take my passion for running, farther than just high school. I want to take my academic studies as well as my athletic competitiveness into college. I have been thinking about studying engineering but I'm not 100% sure yet. I was appointed the men’s captain of the boy’s distance team and work to encourage the team to practice and help them in any way I can.
