Track is just is my love and passion. I had Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and that hindered me from running track my Freshman and Sophomore year of High School. I didn't run my Junior year because I wasn't sure if I was mentally/physically ready to get back into playing sports. As I came into Senior year I realized that track was meant for me and that God gave me speed and I shouldn't waste the talent he gave me. So I trained day in and day out for countless hours trying to get faster and stronger because I knew that I was far behind my fellow teammates and was probably the slowest on the team. But through it all, all my hard work paid off, my PR in the 100m is a (10.95s) and in the 200m is a (22.70s). I will continue to strive to be the best no matter the obstacle and push my body past it's limit. I want to compete at the collegiate level because I know what ever College I attend I will make a great impact there. Making new friends and having family bonds with my teammates and breaking school records with them is my goal.
