I am someone who understands the value of hard work in the classroom and on the track. I started track my freshman year of high school and my first 400 was 1:29, that was after a couple months of training. I kept going at the 400 because my coach believed in me. Now I run 51 seconds and I plan to break under 50 this season. When it comes to classroom room work ethic I do not fall short either. I put academics as a priority before sports. My coach can attest for me when I say I go to tutoring almost every wedsnday and some Thursdays to get better a understanding of things I learn. I want to do track on the collegiate level because I love to run but if I'm being honest I'm hoping to get a scholarship through it. I know I am not the number one in my track age group but the does not stop me from giving it all my heart and striving to be better. To sum it up I have come a long way and I remember how hard it was to get here so that pushes me to work even harder to get even further.
