Personal Statement
I have a strong desire to compete in track and field and cross country at the collegiate level. I have a strong work ethic, and a desire to reach my full potential as a student-athlete. I am the consummate team player. I lead by example, and look forward to the daily challenge of excelling not only athletically, but also academically. I enjoy a competitive landscape, and I seek an academic and athletic environment that will allow me to grow as an athlete and person. Character and integrity are of utmost importance. I desire to major in Civil Engineering. Building roads and bridges has been a passion of mine since I was a child. By having me as part of your team, you are getting a student-athlete that works hard, puts team before self, and has the passion and energy to develop and exceed expectations.
