I am a powerful, 6’2”, 195lbs sprinter. I run 100, 200, 400 meters and the 4 x100 and 4 x 400 meters relays. My best event is the 200 meters where I have been able to utilize my strength and endurance over the final third of the race.
I have been running track since 9th grade. I initially began running to maintain my fitness during the football off-season, but fell in love with the competition and camaraderie of the Johns Creek Track & Field team. I now consider track as my main sport and have worked tirelessly to improve my performance.
I am a dedicated trainer. I never miss a session, and have earned a reputation as an athlete who gives 100% every time I step onto the track or into the weight room. I am also extremely coachable, and in my junior season, was singled out for the Coaches Award by my coaches at Johns Creek.
In my Junior season I reached regional finals in the 100m and 200m. I also competed in summer track for Major Impact Track Club.
In my senior year on the Johns Creek Track & Field my goal is to improve my times, in addition to act as a leader and mentor to the younger athletes, just as I benefited from the advice and support of the older athletes when I first joined the team.
