My name is Xavier Parris and I am a class of 2021 sprinter and wide receiver from Acworth, Georgia. I am a two sport player; running track and playing football for Kell High School. I also run track for Full Throttle Elite out of Marietta, Georgia. I run both indoor and outdoor track; competing in the 60m, 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay.
Running track on a collegiate level has always been my dream. The goal would be to continue to grow as a person, student and athlete. I want to have the opportunity to continue competing on a national stage for a college/university who has the same passion for track and field as I do.
I am an exceptional athlete and would be a wonderful addition to any team. My work ethic, perseverance and determination will allow me to excel in any program. Another goal would be to break school records and bring back WINS for my team.
I've been running since I have been five years old and have honed my craft throughout the years. I won a gold medal in the Junior Olympics at an early age for the long jump so I know what it takes to become #1. I understand what it is to have losses while competing and have always allowed myself to learn from my losses which has made me a better athlete.
I am a recruit like no other; being highly coachable in the process. The goal would be to listen and to duplicate in hopes of becoming successful both on and off the track. My character has allowed me to not only learn but teach others in the process whether that be perfecting a form or a start. In a nutshell, I am a leader.
Also, I enjoy Business and Marketing and would love to know more about programs your school can offer as well.
Please take a look at my short highlight video and would love feedback as to whether I would be a good fit for your team. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
