Once I found Track and Field in the seventh grade, I have had such a desire to compete at the collegiate level. Track for me is my life. I absolutely love getting out to practice early to get a head start on the work outs or to help out with the middle school team. I do understand how challenging it is to run at the collegiate level, and I feel I am very capable of doing so.
I am a very quick learner and easily pick up anything new my coach presents to me. I was a team leader during my sophomore year and now, as a junior, I am a captain. I feel that one of my strengths as a leader is helping the middle school or any new member of track use everything they have to the best of their ability. I demonstrate this by leading and challenging those to be the best they can.
In the classroom, I work just as hard as I do on the track. I have been in honors classes since freshman year while maintaining a GPA percent of 3.75 or higher. I am a member of NHS and I am also a school Ambassador.
I would love to attend a college that challenges me both in academics and athletics. I am open to any school and athletic program hoping to find the perfect college for me. I hope to compete and learn at the highest levels available.
