Personal Statement

I want to become a great runner, and I’m confident I’ve got what it takes to help make your team better. I want to run in college for the team aspect. I feel that in order to be great you need to be with others that have the same goal to train with. “1% of the team is greater than 100% of me” -Eliud Kipchoge. I like this quote because it highlights how you can't do everything alone and how you should value the support people give you. I’m also a younger high school senior. I turned 17 on August 19th. I like to think of my young age in a positive way because most times I compete with Seniors nearly a year older than me. I'm fairly new to high level running but I've become obsessed, and my improvement has been rapid. I think I would be a great addition to any team with running ranging from a 51 second 400m to a 1:15:40 half marathon. I could fill most any spot and excel at what I do.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
