Spencer Loy '22 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was 8 years old, I have always wanted to compete in sports. In particular, I found myself wanting to run track over any other team sport. I put all of my effort into running with a track club for almost 7 years. I would come to practice prepared and ready to work harder than anyone else who would challenge me. Even to this day, I walk onto the track wanting to be the fastest runner out of everyone. Above all else, I want to set records for myself and beat them every time I run my race. I'm never satisfied with a loss or a poor race, which only pushes me to do better the next opportunity I get. I take not only my athletics, but my academics seriously, which contributes greatly to how I perform in both. My goal is to be the best runner on the track every day I run.
