I am a sprinter for my high school track team and have also been a Defender/Striker for my high school soccer team. I was an All-State contender my junior year in track as I was part of the 4x400 meter relay team that placed 7th at Illinois Prep Top Times for indoor track and also placed 8th for IHSA outdoor track. I was co-captain of the Junior Varsity squad soccer squad my junior year. As a co-captain, I realized that I am a leader and as such try to hold myself to a higher standard and help others not only on the field but also away from the field. I have been involved in track since middle school. I always try to push myself to not only be a better athlete but to be a better person. I am open to criticism to improve my technique and always open to suggestions on how to do so. Away from school and sports I am also involved in my church community and have been involved in mission trips with my youth group, going to various places in the country to help improve impoverished areas. I enjoy helping people in this way and hope to continue this in the future.
