As a cross country/ track and field runner and student, I am a hard worker and a determined student athlete. My goal is to always improve by finding my weaknesses and bettering myself as a person and student athlete. I believe that I am a very outgoing individual and get along with anyone.
I love to race and compete! My love for running first started in elementary school while running the state mandated school fitness test which was the mile run. It was then that I realized running was my passion, as every year I strived to be the fastest student. I was first introduced to the sport of cross country my 6th grade year of elementary school through intramural sports as running was not offered as a sport until junior high. Since then I have progressed in the sport due to hard work and determination. My coach has played a huge role in where I am at as a senior, looking to compete at the collegiate level.
When my shoes are not laced up, I love to help the community and volunteer at my church and summer camps. I also enjoy playing basketball as a way to get outside and compete in something other than running.
I am looking for a college where I can work hard academically and athletically. I want to prove my ability to compete through my work ethic and contribute and be a part of a team where we can better each other athletically and as people. I believe I'm a great leader by action and work ethic. I get along and can form a bond with anyone. I am extremely dedicated to everything I set my mind to and promise to always give my best effort.
