Colin Kachlic '21 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to become a successful lawyer after college. So my education comes first, and therefore I want to find a school with a strong Pre-Law program. I'm looking for a competitive team with a family-like bond and a talented group of guys that will help push me to be a stronger runner. I'm also seeking an excellent coach who is very knowledgeable and is very involved in their runner's lives. I feel what sets me apart from other runners is that I put my team before myself. I never just run for myself, I run for my teammates. I fight for every place in the race, I believe that when one runs for every single spot in the race, the fast times will come. My racing style is not to set a PR in the first mile of the race. I like to build up my pace each mile and pass other runners all race long. The last mile of my races is always my fastest, not the first mile. I'm involved in many extracurricular activities and work part-time as a waiter. But most importantly, I'm a hard worker and I love to challenge myself to become a better student athlete.
