Personal Statement
The thing I love about track is the competition. I enjoy competing with other people as well as myself. Aside from placing well in an event, I constantly push myself to throw further than yesterday. I look forward to throwing in college.
Assuming there is no lightning or thunder present, I enjoy going outside to practice throwing. During the spring and summer months, I am usually out throwing once a day. Throughout the year I work on strength training.
Along with track, I am also in the band program at Columbus North High School. Throughout the year, I participate in several various school bands playing multiple instruments. I work hard and enjoy performing music as a pastime.
I take as many honors/AP courses that I can. I am looking for a college that has a good engineering, physics, or math program. In school, I find those courses challenging. I enjoy those challenges and wish to continue them in college.
