Thomas Johnson '23 Recruiting Profile

(2023 Jan 17th current furthest throw is 199'8" UNNOFICIAL) I am a hard-working athlete with excellent sportsmanlike conduct, I am a fantastic team player. I have participated in Boy's Track & Field since the sixth grade and every season I have dramatically improved. During my junior year season, I qualified for state in discus finishing in 7th place for the state of Indiana. I achieved the Most Valuable Player award in season 2022, for scoring the most points in overall events. I have also played goalkeeper since the sixth grade; I achieved the sixth position overall in the state for the number of saves. I received an all-conference team award for season 2021 soccer and season 2021-2022 track and field. I played Pop Warner football prior to joining soccer and track. I am an all-around talented athlete, my strength is my willingness to be teachable, taking those skills and putting them into practice. My passion is throwing discus and shotput, my dream is to compete at the collegiate level in field events and advance into the world championships.
