Blake Milner '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a person who loves to run, my high school coach said that not many kind like to run like myself. I have always run the 400 meter since I ran for my first time in 7th grade. My coach, Mrs. Rogers, was very close to me this past year; she has influenced me to work even harder this year because she resigned as head coach. I also won a few awards last year for all county and all conference with the winning time of 52.6 sec. for county and 5.09 sec. for conference. I also won the most sprinter points and mental attitude for my freshman year. Last year I ran the 100 meter dash just for fun at the last meet before sectionals. I ran it in 11.2 seconds which my coach said I looked really funny running because she could tell I was catching the runner near the end. I really enjoy running track and made a pack with a good friend to work even harder then what we did last year. I will work hard to prove to my old coach that I can run with the big schools. Coach Rogers and I shared a relationship that most kids my age would not, I could tell her whatever I needed to and she would always listen to what I had to say. She was always their for me and I really enjoyed that. I would love to go run somewhere in college; it would be the best feeling ever to walk on a big college track. It gives me the chills when I step on a track for the first time. With that being said I hope I am the right person for some college...
