Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Daniel Carvajal, I am from Mexico City, I train track and field and I run the 200m and 400m at 8000ft altitute. I am looking forward to being recruited into track and field in a good division and to be studying civil engineering or construction management in college in the future. I'm an open minded person because I grew up in an international environment from the school I go to and from all the places I lived in. I am studying the IB program at the very moment where my academic strengths mainly apply into mathematics, physics and economics. I'm always that person who comes up with many practical alternate solutions when encountering a challenge or a situation. I always spread positivity around with my school teachers, friends and coaches. On the athletic side, I am always very motivated and very engaged to be doing any physical activity or sport as it always brights up my mood and passion. I attend every competition and I am willing to practice more track and field events in the future. I really like to have the sensation of adrenaline which makes me to be a very competitive and active person. What makes me different from the rest is that I am an ambitious athlete who is always determined to improve my sprinting skills each time, especially when I can learn from tough opponents. I am not a man of excuses, I always aspire to optimize my progression as much as I can and is determined to make my family proud.
