My first 5k was when I was 3 ½ years old and ever since then I have always loved running. I started track and cross country in 7th grade and have been in it all the way up to now. I love to run and would love to keep running in college to make it even farther then I have in high school.
When I’m at practice I work hard to get better because I enjoy running and want to see where I can go and how much better I can become. I always give 100% in everything I do whether it is swimming, running or any of the other activities I do.
In the classroom I work hard so I can get a good education. School is not easy for me as I also have dyslexia. This for me this means that I have to really focus and work hard and has helped me to have a very strong work ethic about the importance of always doing my best even when things are hard. I try my best in all areas whether it’s at school, athletics, or working my part time job as a lifeguard.
What I am looking for in a college is somewhere where I can get a good education to make it in the real world. I am also looking for a college that will push me to do the best in my running and to achieve greatness in what I do.
