Caleb Bazil '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Caleb Bazil. I plan to attend Hesston High School as a freshman next year. Running for me is everything my passion if you will. At birth I was diagnosed with chromosyntosis (I presume is how you spell it) and was not permitted to play heavy contact sports such as football and wrestling. I then turned to soccer. It didn't turn out like I wanted it to so I then turned to track in seventh grade. That first season changed my view point on running forever. Just the thrill of stepping onto the blocks is enough to get me pumped, then when the whistle blows I just let it all out and go for gold. This is something I wasn't really able to do in soccer and that's why I love track so much. I'm also going to be doing cross country next year mainly to prepare me for the next track season. I'm looking forward to running throughout highschool and hopefully throughout college and maybe throughout my life.
