I am a Sophomore at Pawnee Heights High School in Rozel Kansas. I enjoy going to a small school because I feel you have more open opportunities and not so restricted on the things you would like to be part of. I am my class Secretary and I'm on the Kay's and Stucco board. I enjoy helping my community and being part of these committees is just a small peak into what life is all about once we walk out the front doors of High School.
I am involved in all sports at my school but enjoy track the most. Track gives me the edge on all my abilities and makes me try harder as an individual. There is nothing like pushing yourself to full-fill your goals you have set for yourself. I made it to Regionals my Freshman year which was a big accomplishment for me and look forward to striving even harder to make it to State this year in the 300 meter hurdles.
I love being outdoors, it gives me that sense of freedom away from the world. Even if it's just for a few hours either at the river doing some fishing, hiking or just relaxing by the water. I enjoy hunting with my family and have learned a lot about why we hunt and how to control the hunt. I look forward to going to college to pursue that need even more. My interest in wildlife is just the beginning.
Thank you,
