Personal Statement
First, I would like to say that I believe that I have not even come close to reaching my full potential. In comparison, my athletic abilities both in the weight room and on the field are far above what I currently throw in the ring. I strongly believe I will continue to improve quite easily in all throwing events.
Now, here are a couple of things about me personally,
I would love to continue participating in athletics such as track and field late into my life. I have a deep passion and drive to be the best that I can be at any athletic event. Athletics are my passion as well as the competition that comes with it. I am proud of my accomplishments, but never have I felt satisfied and I never will.
I learn quickly, especially when presented to me visually, I can adapt to a new practice and implement it very quickly. I am also very disciplined in life and athletics, as I never take the easy route and do not follow the steps of others, and instead, I try to become a leader for those who are lost. I am disciplined in the ways that I never do anything irresponsible as I'm sure many colleges are aware of by now with their partying students. I have a very developed sense of moral and ethical direction that I use to influence my teammates and others. I combine my extremely competitive personality along with my maturity and discipline to always get that extra repetition in, to always throw that extra inch, and to always get the job done.
