Hi! My name is Holden Brannan. I am a Junior at Mt. Ararat High School in Topsham, Maine. I just finished the Winter season for Track and Field and am currently preparing for the Spring season. Last season I placed 3rd at the K.V.A.C.'s in the 55m with a time of 6.84 seconds. I also placed 18th at the New Balance games in New York. I qualified for State's however I had a previous commitment serving in the Dominican Republic. I went with a team of students and helped build a bathroom, fix the town water pump and really enjoyed learning from the community of Santo Domingo.
I am beginning to explore colleges and am looking forward to continuing Track and Field. I also play or have played: Football, Soccer & Baseball. I have a passion for sports and people. That is why I plan on continuing my education in the field of Sports Medicine. My faith is the biggest part of my life. I spend a lot of time involved with my local youth group. We also do different service projects within our community. I am on the worship team with my family.
I have been very busy with my Academics. I have a 3.5 grade point average. I am currently in two AP classes, one honors class and one senior math class. Next year I will be taking a college course for English.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope to hear from you soon!
