My name is Cameron Parker and I am a sophomore at Calvert Hall. My goal as a prospective collegiate athlete is to excel both in running and in the classroom. I bring a unique blend of character, athleticism, and academic dedication that will make me a great fit for any potential university.
I began my running journey my freshman year, and since then I've been known for my strong work ethic, resilience, and positive attitude which help contribute to my team's supportive, yet competitive, environment. My efforts have paid off on the XC course and the track, as I finished this recent XC season as the #2 sophomore in Maryland and recently won the MIAA Indoor Track Championship 3200m race.
Academically, I prioritize excellence and have worked hard to maintain a strong academic record throughout my freshman year and into this year. I am prepared to continue this commitment at the collegiate level while pursuing my passion for running.
To conclude, I am a driven and dedicated athlete with the mindset, talent, and academic focus to make an impactful and positive contribution to your team.
