I had been voted most valuable player in all running events three years in a row at Walter Johnson High school. I was selected by the Run Washington Magazine to the All-Maryland team. I am a highly motivated and an enthusiastic runner. I had been helping my running team at Walter Johnson to improve our performance. I led the team to a strong indoor season where I ran in five to four events per meet. I mentor and encourage younger runners in our team.
I had been combining my passion for running with my school workload taking challenging classes mostly AP and honor classes. I am also a founder member of a Charity Club at School (Josefino’s Hope) raising funds for orphan children in my native country Mexico. I have a passion for Sciences and History. I had been a Smithsonian National History Museum Intern for the past two years and half working there during my school breaks. I am fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
I am fully committed to working hard to achieve my dreams.
