Personal Statement
My goals for college are to have an opportunity to run for a college track team while pursuing a degree in Computer Science. I have been running track since I was 10 years old. I love running and being a part of a team. This is my second year running hurdles and my times have been improving. What sets me apart from other candidates is that I'm always striving to be better. I have joined a track club to help perfect my hurdling and sprinting skills as I work on being an explosive runner. I believe there is always room for growth. I also believe that for a team to succeed, the individual members have to succeed as well. I love helping others reach their goals, whether it's helping the freshmen work on their pacing on the track, speed or starts. I also volunteer my time to help my little brother’s basketball team.
I am looking for a College that has an invigorating atmosphere and rigorous academic standards, which will advance my interest in Computer Science.
