Donovan Baldwin '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Donovan Baldwin, and I am an athlete for North Hagerstown High School in both Men's Track and Field and Soccer. I have been competing in track since I was 3 years old and have continued to progress and gain major accomplishments. I aspire to be a D1 Athlete in college and beyond as well as continuing to be recognized academically.  I am a person who is incredibly self-driven, and has a great ability to communicate with others across all ages, I am always bringing a positive atmosphere on the track or in the classroom when things seem to become negative, and I'm always shedding light on those who may not get the same recognition, but deserve it just as much. You as a coach or professor, will never have to worry about me not passing a class or not putting effort in every single day, I study hard and maintain a high GPA as well as grades in general. 

As an athlete, I am a person who is never fully satisfied with my performances or results, I am always wondering, “well what comes next?” Despite my small stature I carry my body extremely well and have great stamina and endurance no matter the conditions. As I stated earlier, I'm a very good communicator with all people and am a very coach-able person. I'm always looking for a way to learn and improve in order to better prepare me for performances in the future. I can also take what I've learned from a coach and apply it to not only my own races but help others on a team learn.

In the end, I would love to attend a college that is prepared and will give me the best opportunity to excel on and off the track. I am open to all divisions and options regarding colleges and schools. I also hope to set an example for the school I attend with my work ethic and become a role model for those attending as well as those who are looking for colleges to attend.
