Personal Statement
Being able to go to States for outdoor track my sophomore year for my first year ever running track was a big achievement for me. Basketball was my primary sport up until then because I realized I had a natural talent in running. My sophomore year is when I feel like I really thrives because I was able to to achieve many different things as a student athlete. As of now I am fully focused on getting better at track and I set different goals for my junior year I hope to reach.
High school has really helped me find out who I am as a person. I am very funny, considerate, love to be around family and friends, and just a fun person to be around. I have been through many different obstacles but I am glad I have been through those because they have shaped me to be the person I am today. I give most of the credit to my mother, as of now I live with her and two other siblings, I dedicate most of what I do to her because she has spent a lot of time and money to make sure I had what I need to be successful.
