Jackson Iafrate '26 Recruiting Profile

Before college as well as in college, I hope to continue improving my 5k time immensly, while also doing well in school so that i am able to support myself and my future family for years to come. I went into Freshman year with a 5k time of around 20:30 When i got into High school i released that i want to run xc in college. I have recently taken action on that dream, as I have been working the hardest I have ever worked to improve and at the current time of Sophmore year I have brought my 5k time down to 18:35 Both of my last two races (oct 2023) have been a personal record by more than 20 seconds. I am on course to and am confident in breaking 19 minutes by the end of the 2023 season. I know  may not be the fastest runner, but I am determined on the course and in the classroom. For my current team i provide depth in our varsity, picking off crucial runners throughout the race earning our team depth, and every good cross country team needs depth.
