Personal Statement
So far the highlight to my career was winning my conference championship two times and qualifying for nationals. I have won many achievements including league all-star. I also recently won a DR- excellence award given for my respect found in the classroom. I first became interested in the sport my freshman year after coming off of football and winter track I wanted to stay active so I decided to go out for spring track and field. I started to get really into throwing, mainly javelin, and kept with it, practicing as much as I could. Growing up I have always had a supportive family and group of friends who constantly help and push me to do the best. I have always been active and love the whole atmosphere it brings. Through sports I have been able to learn a lot about myself. Constantly pushing myself to the next level. That also helps me in the classroom, although I spend much time being the best at my sport I can also balance between academics and extracurricular activities. I am an A student and take pride in being the top of my class. I also work as a busser at a local restaurant averaging around 20 hours a week. In anything I do I go 110% always pushing myself for more, it’s a quality I take much pride in. I would love to advance my academic and athletic career and push to be the best in college.
