Hi! My name is Jack Clohisy, and I am an 18 year old senior from Pentucket Regional High School. I have been doing outdoor track competitively since middle school in 7th grade. Freshmen year of high school I ran varsity my first season for both indoor and outdoor track. In indoor, I started with the 55m Hurdles and broke the school record in the 4x50 yard shuttle hurdles. Outdoor track came and I began the 400m Hurdles.
During sophomore year hurdles began to click for me, and during my second indoor season, I broke the school record in the 55m Hurdles. I also broke my previous record in the shuttle hurdles along with the distance medley relay record. This season was the first season I qualified for the state divisional meet where finished my season with a personal best. Outdoor track sophomore year had been my biggest improvement of all seasons when I shaved 6 seconds off my 400m Hurdle time and broke sixty seconds (58.30), and also ran the 110m Hurdles for the first time. Eventually I placed 5th at the state divisional meet.
My best accomplishments consist of eight school records, 6 in indoor track and 2 in outdoor track: 400m Hurdles (57.08 seconds), 110m Hurdles (14.92 seconds), 55m Hurdles (7.94 seconds), 4x400m Relay (3:36.28 minutes -- 53.58 split), 4x50y Shuttle Hurdles (28.69 seconds), distance medley relay (400m leg), team pentathlon combined score, and career points for indoor track. Division 4 State Champion in 400m Hurdles and 110m Hurdles (2018), 1x champion of the Henry Sheldon Triton Classic meet in the 110m Hurdles, 1x champion of the MSTCA Speed Classic in the 55m Hurdles, 1x All-League in the 55m Hurdles, 1x League All-Star & 1x All-League in the 400m Hurdles, 2x League All-Star in 110m Hurdles, and 2x All-League in the 4x400m relay. Also, I was selected as a Newburyport Daily News All-Star in Outdoor Track 2017 (sophomore year), Commonwealth Motors Unsung Hero in Indoor Track 2017 (sophomore year), Eagle Tribune All-Star Honorable Mention Outdoor Track 2017 (110m Hurdles; sophomore year), Whirlaway Sports final honor roll 2017 member in the 110m Hurdles, Newburyport Daily News All-Star in Indoor Track 2018 (junior year), Eagle Tribune All-Star Honorable Mention Indoor Track 2018 (55m Hurdles; junior year), and Whirlaway Sports All-Time runner in the 400m Hurdles (13th fastest all time).
Running in college is my absolute dream, and I would love to work with any coach willing to help me better myself in any of my events!
