Personal Statement

My name is Joseph Shaya and I am a  senior from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. I attend Brother Rice High School, and I have finished my fourth year of cross country.  As the indoor track season approaches, I am looking to run under 4:20 for the 1600m and 9:20 for the 3200m. I am looking for a college that has a great business and athletics program. I am open to any small or large schools. I have a 3.5 gpa and I am a member of National Honor Society at my school. My work ethic and competitive nature are the two things that drive me to be a great leader in both running and school.
