Simon Hatcher '19 Recruiting Profile

Throughout my entire high school career, there's always been the aspect that I could have ran faster, each race. Every time, I held myself back, despite the entire week of training -- or more -- that lead up to every race. Just now, during my senior year, I've learned how to reach and attain my goals. In that, through simple and adjusted coaching, I would be able to run faster than I could possibly dream.

As a former baseball player, my team values differ from usual cross-country runners. I believe in a coherent team that supports each other, despite our numerous differences, and that the one goal of pushing ourselves should be prevalent in our practices. 

Academics are no issue, as school has come easily for me for my four years at high school.
