Personal Statement

I began running in 6th grade as it was the first sport available. Initially, it did not come easy for me, but by 8th grade, I began to realize my potential and developed a passion for the sport. I always set a goal for each season; there is nothing like putting in the work and seeing those goals be realized. I especially cherish the team aspect; working together and pushing one another to be our best. I understand the commitment and hard work required to succeed in both athletics and academics, and would love to continue my running career in college as I know I have not yet reached my full potential. I believe I would be a great fit for any collegiate cross country/track program.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
