Personal Statement
My interests are broad, but mostly fall into the categories of engineering and robotics. I especially like CAD design. Another area I've considered studying is broadcast technology, i.e. directing, editing, production and possibly film making. I'm strong academically, athletically (track, soccer) and artistically. Together, these three strengths have led me to experience a variety of classes and extra-curricular activities which have afforded me leadership, team building and personal growth opportunities. I'm very independent, mature, responsible and socially well-adjusted for my age. Band, drama, quiz bowl, FIRST competitive robotics and a regular job are additional activities which I've managed well with my accelerated academic track. I'm very excited about college because I feel I'm ready to be on my own, and I want to be someplace that offers me lots of things to do socially and academically. I also plan to run track while in college.
