Personal Statement
I have been training hard to be a competitive runner since I was 12 years old. I began competing in track and field when I was in seventh grade. In eighth grade, I joined cross country as well. During eighth grade I worked diligently and won first place in almost every meet and event I entered. I was voted captain of my track team, and was able to maintain straight A's while competing in four different sports. This led me to want to pursue being a college athlete. I am a coachable athlete, who is a team player, and shows up every day ready to grind.
