Personal Statement

I am always striving to improve, and working hard is something I always do. I lift weights several times a week at school, and I participate in other fun physical activities everyday - from basketball to swimming. 

Before I began running and competing year round, I earned my 1st degree Black Belt in MMA at Adams’ Karate Fitness in Coldwater, MI. 

Now I compete in Indoor Track in the winter.  I have been on the Quincy High School Varsity Track & Field Team my freshman and sophomore year so far. In the summer, I have been competing in AAU Junior Olympics in Track & Field, finishing 9th for my age group at the AAU Junior Olympic Nationals in Houston, TX in 2016, and in Ypsilanti, MI in 2017. In the fall, I stay in shape by running for my Quincy Varsity HS Cross Country team where I made All-Conference my sophomore year - my best time being 17:41.

Needless to say, I love to run and compete.
