Taylor Nelson '25 Recruiting Profile

In my pursuit of collegiate goals and aspirations, my ultimate goal would being able to ascend to Olympic level, making running a lifelong commitment for both a career and a passion. This makes a major stepping stone to my dreams of going to the Olympics. For this I have to be really dedicated by pushing myself to my physical limits 24/7, investing my most effort into improvement. 

This sets me apart from other recruits. This is because my aspiration serves as a constant metric by which I measure my progress, to see how close I am to reach my success in these sports. But during  utmost effort in my dreams balancing my athletic pursuits with academic endeavors has been challenging.  Despite this  challenge I have been able to keep a GPA above a 3.5. This shows many features of myself of how I can manage time, set priorities, and perform my person best in challenges in my life.  In character athletics, and academics, I am driven by an undesirable passion to beat my limits and exceed anyone's expectations.
