Baker Purvis '23 Recruiting Profile

    Ever since I was young I tried my best to be the best. I was always trying my best to help others and maintain good grades athleticism. My parents are my main inspiration, my mother was a track runner and my father was an athlete. They have pushed me to be everything I have and will become. I became interested in track in the seventh grade. I tried it it because it was something new and I loved to try new things, I went on and won my district race in the 800 meter run and fell in love. I have learned that I am dedicated and that nothing is impossible if you set your mind to it and try your hardest. I want to graduate high school as one of the top of my class and maintain a GPA over 3.5. I want to go on and major in Psychology and be a Psychiatrist. I have had to overcome a few obstacles in my life, I had to try my hardest for the coaches to even think about putting me in a race on my own in the seventh grade. I'm a dedicated and coachable athlete, always attempting to help others and learning anything possible or needed.
