Personal Statement
I started running in 7th grade and since then I have shattered my expectations. My first 5k was a 22:30, and since then I have brought it to 17:57. In the last year alone I have brought my time down by a minute and five seconds. When the quarantine started, my training peaked, and I put in more miles than I ever have in my life. When I was uncertain if track and cross country were going to happen, I didn't stop running, and in April and May I put up a combined 260 miles. Since quarantine, my times have been very fast and I have medaled almost every meet. Now I have my sights set on all-district and I am determined to qualify for state by my senior year.
