2020 Highlights Personal Statement
For as long as I can remember, sports and academics have been a big part of my life. After several years of competitive basketball I discovered pole vaulting during my freshman track season, and have been working at it ever since. Pole vault has become my passion, and I have pursued my speed, technique and training with single-minded purpose. In college I plan to pursue a degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish with the same level of hard work and tenacity. I am looking forward to the opportunities that college athletics could provide.
