Personal Statement

Many people would say that it takes talent to go far. I personally am a believer in the fact that hardwork beats talent when talent fails to work hard. Since 2017, Class 4 District 6, the opening height was 10’ and I failed to clear I made it a duty to myself and to my team to excel in the sport I loved the most. Pole vault. I worked day after day, night after night, 16 days out of 31 in January and am now only 1’ away from the school record at Monett High School. I am different because even in the highest accounts of adversity I plan to excel and learn from when I fail.
