My name is Ethan Light. I am a junior at Sullivan High School. I participate in the A+ program and have been part of our Cross Country, Track, and Basketball teams. The two things I enjoy most are running and helping people.
A few months ago, I fractured my arm while playing basketball and had to undergo surgery and physical therapy. While it is not something I would want to go through again, it did help me decide on what I want to do in the future. After interacting and talking with my Occupational Therapist for several months, I decided this is what I want to do after college. I enjoy helping people - whether it is the young kids in the classroom I help through A+ or special needs kids in my class, I like to make others feel like part of the group and help them meet challenges. If I could run in college while earning my degree in Occupational Therapy, it would be a win-win for me.
