Hello I am Tyler Gray from Billings Montana. Javelin was something new to me I wasn't sure how I would do in it. Everything clicked for me the first year and I was able to throw 159'4". The next year I put more time into it and was able to get to 175'2.5" which was a great accomplishment. I like to have fun with javelin it's something unique and interesting I like to do. It also allows me to share with my other teammates and opponents new or different techniques they have. This junior year was challenging because I was the leader in the East which is my division and I had no big competition. I was throwing 180s in practice but in competition watching the others throw them coming to me there were chasing me but I had no one to throw against. I will put in the work and push myself to throw farther.
