I have been running since I was 10 years old and have been running for the Bozeman Hawks track and cross country teams since 2015. Winning the cross country national championships in 2016. I know that running in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
I have been able to improve my 5k PR by at least :35 per year with potential for more improvement in college and I train hard year-round. I have also run numerous road and trail races ranging from 5K's to half marathons to continue my training. When my college career commences, I have a goal to qualify for the Boston Marathon.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a good GPA. I have been a member of our local Boy Scouts for over 7 years and am currently working on my Eagle Scout project. I have volunteered in our local community for over 10 years as well.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the cross country course and track.
I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match that allows me to grow to my highest level. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
