Personal Statement

I have been running competitively since the fifth grade. I immediately fell in love with track and field and I've always dreamed of competing at the collegiate level. I am very grateful to have the opportunities that I do, and the opportunity to run in college is life changing.

Hard work and dedication have always been my personal motivators. I have been named the hardest worker on the team the past two years, and have the same intentions for the remainder of my career. I've been told that I am a very coachable athlete and I am always striving to improve on weak areas.

I want to attend a college where I can utilize my full potential both on the track and in the classroom. I want to find a school that has a strong focus on academics and a place where I know I can get the best experience possible.
