Michael Anderson '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a passionate and dedicated individual with a deep interest in sports and maintaining an active lifestyle. Over the years, I have developed a strong foundation in officiating and doing sports for little kids. I am eager to expand my expertise further by going into college and finding a degree to major in that has to do with sports.

My journey began when I started to play sports as a kid and continued playing them. This experience sparked my curiosity about a job where I can be around sports all the time, which motivated me to pursue refereeing soccer, flag football, taking a reffing class this year, and teaching kids sports like basketball. Throughout my academic and professional career, I have continually sought opportunities to build my knowledge and skill set, including FBLA, FCA, basketball, football, track, cross country, one-act, and E-Sports.

One of my key strengths is teamwork. For example, during this summer I worked for a sprinkler job where I was always working with other guys to get a job done, and once and a while we would have to be doing the same thing. This experience taught me the value of working with others, which I will have to apply in my future endeavors.

I am particularly excited about the possibility of running track in college. I believe that I can achieve my goal of running track in college as long as I keep staying passionate about it and persevering through tough obstacles that may appear.

Looking ahead, I am committed to finding a job related to sports that will help me in the future so I’m not struggling financially. I am confident that my combination of skills, experiences, and determination will enable me to make a meaningful contribution to the sports world.

I am excited for the opportunity to continue learning and growing. I believe this opportunity will be an important step toward achieving my goals, and I look forward to the challenges and growth. Thank you for considering my application.
