2017 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Caden Waitley. I attend Perkins County High School in Grant Nebraska. I run XC, wrestle, run track, and lift weights. In the season of 2017 XC I was Conference and District champion. I had a PR of 17:12, that I ran to get the conference champion title. I also earned a spot in the Nebraska Class D All-States Elite 15. In track I am shooting for a sub 2 minute 800 meter dash.
After high school, I am planning on joining the National Guard and attending college during that term. In college I would like to study wildlife management, so after the National Guard, if I don't choose to go into full time military, I can become a park ranger or a game warden. I would also like to participate in XC or track in college and a ROTC program.

- I do a lot of sports that help me stay in shape for the next season's sport. In the summer I run about 4 to 5 miles a day for cross country.
