Personal Statement
My name is Jordan Daniel Birtz. I am currently a junior at Bow High School of Bow, New Hampshire. My future and my morals are the two most important things to me, which is the reason I compete in Track and Field. For the past 7 years, track and field has raised me to be the person I am today by teaching me about life and helping me stay out of trouble. I am a devoted, hard working student-athlete, and although my grades may not show this statement, I am always trying my hardest to succeed, even if it means failing multiple times to get there. I am working hard now to bring my GPA up as high as possible which is something I regret not working on in the Past. I wish to attend college for Psychology then afterwards, apply for medical school to become a licensed psychiatrist. In the classroom and on the track, I tend to be a leader and take charge of situations that call for it whether it is helping someone with their struggles or leading by example. Typically, people will come to me for help for many different reasons and even though I might not be able to give an answer, I will do my best to help. During the track season I am always pushing my self to improve, not stopping until my day is done. Even on the off-season I push myself to be ready and willing to compete competitively once again. I am always pushing to win and succeed no matter what it takes. I am very excited to talk to coaches and discuss my future and cannot wait to get out to college and run.
