My main goal is to continue to become better at running. When I began running my freshman year I was not the best nor the most talented on the team, but I was one of the hardest working. My accomplishments may not be as good as other peoples accomplishments but I'm happy with the improvement I have seen due to the hard work that I put in at practice. While I'm in college I would like to continue to use that hard-working mentality that I have developed in high school and use that to improve during college. Also, I would like to run with older more experienced runners so I can push myself to become a better competitor.
This hardworking mentality I also apply to the classroom. I have always have gotten good grades, but throughout each year of high school my grades have went up while I have been pushing myself to take harder classes. During the freshman year, I took 3 honors classes. During my sophomore year I took 3 honors and 1 AP class. When I got to Junior year I took 4 AP classes and one Honors class. Academically every year got harder but I worked hard and got higher grades each year.
