I started running and jumping in track when I was in 7th grade. I loved the adrenaline rush I would get of sprinting and jumping. I loved the thought of running faster than people who can't run that fast. I was very energetic kid when I was little. My parents would always tell me how much my twin brother and I would always run on the beach and even in the snow. When I ran in 7th grade, I loved competing with much older competitors because I wanted to better myself.
I became interested when I was a freshman when my coaches told me how much potential I had. I had a decent freshman year, which made me want to improve myself for the upcoming years. I always said to myself that I can run faster and jump further.
I learned through out these years, how to become a team player and that I can get through anything if i set my mind to it. I also learned that i need to work hard in anything I do and always try my best. Another thing that I set out to do is have a connection with the coaches and my teammates on and off the track.
My goals for High School is to maintain a very high GPA and stay out of trouble. Another goal of mine is to break a lot of school records and be the best athlete I can. My goals for college is to become one of the best sprinters, maintain my grades high and make my parents proud.
One of my many skills is to overcome problems with a positive attitude. I want to have long lasting friendships with my teammates on and off the track. I always like to compete to become the greatest. I don't like to be at the bottom of the podium, I always want to be at the top. Finally, I always like to set examples to people younger than me to always work hard and to overcome problems.
